Tasmanian tree ferns taken from their Gondwanic forest homes destined for the sales floor of Bunnings Garden Centres have a long journey. Once approved for logging by the State Government Business Enterprise, 'Sustainable' Timbers Tasmania, the bulldozers and chainsaws move in. They are then loaded onto trucks that take them to wholesale yards before they are packed into shipping containers destined for Garden Supply Centres.
